| High-Band |
The band used for satellite transmission from 11.70 GHz to 12.75 GHz. The ASTRA Satellites system uses this band to transmit digital services only. |
| Hub |
In the context of a star-based network, e.g. comprised of a mixture of SIT's and TVROs, a Hub is a place where data are received (collected). Value added processing and rebroadcasting (via Ku-bad) may also take place at the hub. |
